Read on to see what we’re up to between now and the big day.

Big Spread Christmas Launch Party

Saturday 26th November!

See the Christmas lights switch on at Southside Shopping Centre at 4:30pm, then head over to our beautiful pub which will be dec’d out for Christmas & grab a free Guinness on us to get the party started!

We’ll be launching our NEW Big Spread Bar Snack Menu from 5pm –  if you’ve tried our infamous Pitchfork Cheddar Nuggets you’ll know exactly how good this is going to be. Guinness will also be taking over our bar and if you order a bar snack they’ll treat to a half-pint of Guinness.

We’ll have live music from legendary Moss from 6pm – making it ChristMOSS all night here!

Smells Like Christmas Spirit

Everyone knows that half the fun of Christmas is getting to defrost Michael Buble, try and sing along to Mariah’s high notes and listen to Sinatra crooning whilst sipping on a glass of wine over dinner. But nothing can beat live music for getting us into the holiday spirit, so we’ve got a killer line up of live music coming up this festive season!

Come on down for ‘Carols and Mince Pies’ on Tuesday 20th December, where St Anne’s church choir will be singing all your favourite Christmas carols in our beautiful main bar at 6pm. With the chandelier lights dimmed, the fires roaring and surrounded by the smell of Christmas trees and mulled wine – this is the perfect cosy Christmas evening.

Then if you’re looking for a final festive outing before a family Christmas or are celebrating ‘Friendsmas’ before heading home, join us for a night of jazz, soul and blues and cocktails with Jessica & Tom on Thursday 22nd December! From Christmas bangers to jazz, soul & blues classics, they’ll be entertaining us all from 8pm till late. Free entry for walk in’s – but grab an early bird ticket to receive a cocktail, mulled wine or a glass of Prosecco AND a Christmas gift from us on arrival.

Sax, Pints & Sausage Rolls

Party with us on New Years Eve we’re having a Big Brass Booze Up – 3-piece brass band Fat Brass will be performing from 8:30pm – if you’ve seen Fat Brass before you know they get the party jumping from the go!

Then DJ Mike will be playing all the classic floor fillers to see us through to 2023! Free entry and closing at 1am, come along to the best party in Wandsworth! Book a drinks table on our website or settle in for the night and enjoy a 3-course set dining menu for £50pp.

Crafty at Christmas

We’ve partnered with local artists and creatives this festive season – each unique in their own way and all based in South London as we firmly believe in supporting our local community.

Emma from luxury florist Bramble & Willow on Old York Road is hosting two Wreath Workshops on 30th November and 7th December, giving you all the tips so that your door is the star of your street!

Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in December we’re running our GIN-gerbread House Workshops. Spend the evening decorating your gingerbread house whilst sipping on a hot gin toddy in our beautiful Victorian pub – then either munch away on your creation or take it home to admire, we won’t judge either way!

Local artist Hattie Hawes is back with her popular Wine Not Paint? but this time it’s Christmas-fyed! We’ll be giving everyone a glass of mulled wine on arrival and playing all the Christmas bangers whilst you turn an old Merlot into a candle holder, vase or funky homeware. Perfect for upcoming Christmas presents!

We’ve also partnered with Care4Calais this festive season and will be a donation point for Christmas presents for children refugees living in temporary accommodation across Wimbledon. Drop off a present for a child aged 0-17 anytime until Sunday 4th December. We’ll make sure to wrap them up and drop them off in time for Santa Claus’ arrival on Christmas Day.

There, you have it. Plenty of reasons to visit the pub this Christmas. We look forward to seeing you!
